Fulham host Millwall just three days after playing Manchester City in the fourth round of FA Cup.

They will be looking to return to winning ways on Tuesday, following a disappointing 1-1 draw to Blackpool in the previous Championship round.

The mentioned draw did not hurt Marco Silva’s troops too much as they still have a healthy five-point cushion at the top of the standings with a game in hand on second-placed Blackburn Rovers.

The Cottagers have by far the best attacking line in the league, led by phenomenal Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Serbian forward, who was on target in the mentioned 1-1 draw to Blackpool ten days ago, is by far the best scorer in the competition with 28 goals so far in the season.

Mitrovic and Fulham’s whole offensive line will face a tough challenge on Tuesday, though, given they are up against a defensive-minded Millwall side.

The visitors sit right in the middle of the Championship table with nowhere to go (both promotional playoffs and relegation zone are far away) at the moment.

The Lions have played some tight low-scoring affairs of late. None of the last four games they played in the league thus produced three or more goals.

Millwall kept back-to-back clean sheets in the last two rounds against West Bromwich Albion (a 2-0 home win) and Preston (a goalless draw also at home).

However, we do struggle to find value in the home win pick at the 1.30 odds knowing that this game comes just three days after a tough clash against Premier League leaders Manchester City.

Also, Fulham slipped up last weekend against Blackpool, while Millwall kept their net untouched in successive outings. We’ll back the visitors not to lose by two or more goals difference as the main betting option here.
