Fulham were lucky to pick up all three points from Goodison Park last weekend and they will hope to back up the positive start to the season with a result in Gameweek 2 clash against Brentford on Saturday afternoon at Craven Cottage.

Marco Silva’s men have been in the inferior position throughout the whole course of the opening day’s fixture against Everton last weekend but they found a way to even get a late winner through substitute Bobby De Cordova-Reid.

Silva’s three second-half substitutions made an impact as the like of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Andreas Pereira, and De Cordova-Reid created the winning goal at Goodison Park.

Bernd Leno had a great day in the office, stopping all nine of Everton’s shots on target on the occasion.

Brentford, on the other side, began the season with a 2-2 stalemate against Tottenham Hotspur in what was a very much eventful and open contest at Gtech Community Stadium.

The momentum has swung back and forth throughout the whole game. In general, we have seen a strong performance from both outfits as head coach Thomas Frank can be satisfied with the first game of the season.

The attacking line looked dangerous enough despite missing suspended Ivan Toney who will not be in action until September.
