FC Copenhagen vs Sparta Prague

FC Copenhagen will be looking to continue their winning streak on Tuesday evening when they host Sparta Prague in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round at Parken.
The Danish champions have won all four competitive games this summer, including two comprehensive victories over Icelandic side Breidablik in the second qualifying round of the elite continental competition.
Jacob Neestrup’s men bagged eight goals over two legs with Breidablik as Orri Steinn Oskarsson and Diogo Goncalves starred last week in the reverse outing in Danish capital.
The former completed a hat-trick on the occasion, while Goncalves orchestrated the play with a goal and three assists.
FC Copenhagen notched at least two goals in each of four competitive games this season but they have also kept just one clean sheet in the process.
This could be a worrying sign for Neestrup and his troops ahead of the clash with Sparta Prague who do possess much more quality in their ranks than any of the outfits the Danes have faced so far.
The Czechs have finally won their first domestic title after a ten-year break last season and they enter the 2023/24 campaign with the highest ambitions.
Sparta are also looking to improve on a poor continental campaign from the last season when they were eliminated by Viking at the start of the UEFA Conference League adventure.
Both teams got off to perfect starts in their respective domestic leagues and both possess a strong European pedigree, meaning we should be in for a fantastic double-header in this matchup.
Sparta Prague are yet to concede a goal this season and we expect their stern defensive line to keep this a low-scoring encounter. The main pick will be Under 2.5 goals FT at the 1.95 odds while we will alternatively chase the Czechs not to lose at the 1.66 odds.
