Farul Constanta host Flora Tallinn in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League third qualifying round tie on Thursday evening at Stadionul Central in Ovidiu.
The Romanians completed an empathic second-half comeback seven days ago in the reverse game of their second qualifying round tie against Armenian side Urartu.
Denis Alibec starred with a brace on the occasion to help his team turn a two-goal deficit into a victory in Armenia.
Gheorghe Hagi’s men thus won both ties with an identical scoreline of 3-2. Interestingly, they suffered a domestic league defeat with the same scoreline on Sundy, falling at Petrolul 52 in the fourth round of the Romanian Liga I.
