Eibar vs Sevilla

Eibar are yet to settle in the new campaign and are currently just a point away from hitting rock bottom. The hosts managed not more than a stalemate in their previous trip on the road against Levante while in the comforts of their home, they were at the losing end of a 2-1 scoreline against Espanyol.
It is also worth mentioning that Eibar are one of the only two teams left in the table to taste success and have so far admitted defeat in half of their last six games.
Their counterparts for the week are nothing but a stark contrast. The visitors have stumbled just once in their last six games in all competitions. Their only defeat, which came in the La Liga last week, was against the mighty Los Blancos, that too by a narrow 1-0 scorecard.
Nevertheless, Sevilla have been putting nothing but their best foot forward in their trips on the road so far, and are likely to be too hot to handle for the struggling Eibar.
Jose Luis Mendilibar’s men are yet to hit the ground running and have already lost their only home game so far.
On the other hand, Sevilla have a 100% winning record away from home and have come out on top in their last three outings.
In addition, the visitors secured the bragging rights with a comfortable 3-1 scoreline when the two sides last locked horns at this venue. Given the form that Sevilla are on at the moment, Eibar have no chance at all of thwarting the away side from walking away with all three points on Thursday.
Furthermore, Eibar have found the back of the net just four times in the new season and were able to slot no more than one past Espanyol in their previous home game. Their counterparts have been at their defensive best on the road and have kept a clean sheet in each of their last three outings.
Taking into account that the visitors have also been wrapping things up with a goal or two at the most in each of those clashes, count on Sevilla to win and to keep the scorecards under 2.5 goals in the process as well.
