Dinamo Moscow vs Orenburg
Russia – Premier League
Date: Sunday, 2 September 2018
Kick-Off at 14:30 UK
Venue: Arena Khimki (Khimki).
Orenburg have been in fine form early in the new campaign and they sit just two points behind 3rd placed Rostov and three behind 2nd placed Spartak Moscow, as they travel to Dinamo Moscow looking to build on a four-game unbeaten streak earned since early August.
Vladimir Fedotov’s men have had a somewhat more lenient schedule but they’ve shown off as a very tough side as they beat Lokomotiv Moscow in front of the home crowd and Anzhi on the road, also holding Krasnodar to a 1-1 draw last week – as the rivals only netted a very late equalizer.
They will now hope to take confidence from it ahead of the tough away day at Arena Khimki, but Dinamo Moscow promise a great challenge despite an unpredictable spell of form. The home side comes into the match after a narrow 2-1 loss to Spartak Moscow, but we have seen them in better shape at this ground – as they held Rubin Kazan to a draw and convincingly beat Ufa in their first two outings.
We will now back Orenburg to build on such great records of recent and hold off the tough rivals in Khimki, sticking our necks out for a Draw at 3.20. They have been very tough to outgun recently and we don’t see Dinamo returning to the winning ways here.
Nonetheless, Orenburg will have to score goals to do so as Dinamo boast very solid goalscoring records, especially at this ground. We thus expect an exciting game with goals and we’ll also back a YES on Both teams to score, which now comes at a very good-looking 2.25 and looks great value!
Draw @ 3.20
Both teams to score YES @ 2.25.
