Derry City took just one point from the last two league games. They will be looking to return to winning ways on Friday evening in the home fixture against bottom-half Sligo Rovers.
The team led by Ruaidhri Higgins earned a point at Shelbourne last week thanks to a late equalizer from Ben Doherty.
They rely heavily on stern defensive line that still owns the best record in the league with only 18 goals allowed in 24 games.
