Dropping points of late, West Brom have fallen behind in the four-horse race for the two automatic promotion spots to the Premier League.
Despite managing to put a considerable amount of points on the board lately, surviving in the Championship looks a far fetch for Derby as the team approaches the halfway mark of the season.
Separated by 37 points in the league table, these teams are set to lock horns at the Pride Park Stadium this Monday.

Firstly one has to consider that either team does not head into the fixture with a convincing run of wins.

To sum things up, giving Derby the edge with an Asian handicap seems like the way to go in this fixture.
The Rams have scored the second fewest goals and conceded the third least goals in the division. To add to that the Throstles’ previous 5 away games involved an average score line of 1.25 goals. These observations indicate that a low scoring match is on the cards.
