Aron Wright - March 19, 2022
ADO Den Haag vs Telstar
Netherlands – Eerste Divisie
Date: Monday, 21 March 2022
Kick-off at 19:00 UK/ 20:00 CET
Venue: Cars Jeans Stadion.
Telstar are one of the weakest teams in the Dutch second division, and understandably are placed in the bottom-most tier of the table. They have won just six times all through the campaign, and they also have one of the worst defenses in the whole league.
Meanwhile, Den Haag are in the running for a top-eight finish, and have one of the best offenses in the Eerse Divisie. They have also been one of the best teams at home, and importantly, they have a superior h2h record against this foe over the years.
Taking into account these observations, expect a win for the latter this Monday.
Den Haag were unbeaten in 14 of their past 17 overall fixtures, and in the process they had gone on a nine-match winning streak. Moreover, they had also won nine of their last twelve appearances at home.
On the other hand, Telstar had lost three of their last four match-ups, and they had let in a total of 16 goals from their previous six games combined.
Going on, the last they won on the road was in October, and in the past 12-month period, they have won just thrice away from home.
For the reasons, expect a compelling win for Den Haag this Monday.
