FC Dallas are now Western conference favourites after pulling clear at the top by 6 points after they beat Sporting Kansas City in a thrilling game last week that ended 3-2 to them.
Dallas have been leading the Western conference for much of the season and they will want to wrap up a conference title in style.
Form is decent on the hosts with 7 points earned in their last 4 games and they have gone 3 games without loss. At home they are undefeated and in brilliant form having won 4 games in a row.
San Jose Earthquakes are bottom of the conference, so it is 1st v last here and there is no prize for guessing who will be the favourite priced team to win with the bookmakers.
The Quakes have not won a game for over two months and their away form is very poor with just 1 victory in their last 11 games. This could be the clubs most difficult 90 minutes of the season.
It is time for FC Dallas to end their mini problem over San Jose as they have rarely beaten them in recent games and this has become a frustration.
This season is the right time to end this and FC Dallas are simply a much better team and at home they should have few problems in beating the team that are bottom of the league.
They are odds on to do so in full time, so we will take them for the win at half time for the better value.
