Crystal Palace and West Ham will rise the curtain on Matchday No 34 in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon at Selhurst Park.

Both teams will enter the small London derby off the back of midweek losses. Palace fell 2-0 away at Wolves on Tuesday, while West Ham were unlucky to lose the home tie to Liverpool 1-2 on Wednesday.

West Ham have grown in form drastically in the last several weeks. They were unbeaten in five straight outings across competitions before the mentioned tight loss to the Reds three days ago.

It was not just all about the unbeaten thread but the way in which the team functioned of late as David Moyes’ troops bagged four goals in two of the previous three outings across competitions.

It was the second consecutive game in which the Eagles have failed to find the net. It seems the new manager bounce effect has gone for Roy Hodgson. The clash against West Ham comes at a tricky moment for the hosts.
