Cluj have already been confirmed champions, and will want to end their campaign on a positive note. Meanwhile, FCSB were at the top of the table at the end of the regular season, and had scored the most in the process. Likely, expect goals in plenty this Tuesday.
Cluj deserves special recognition for lifting the title, as they were placed second after the regular season. However, they delivered some superb performances in the Championship Round, and have an unbeaten record in the post-season, barring a single loss.
Meanwhile, FCSB had scored the most in the regular season – 57 goals from 30 fixtures. Note that 15 of the remaining 16 squads had not even touched the 45-goal mark.
Moreover, this is the final game week, and both teams have mathematically confirmed their respective positions in the table.
Likely, expect a goal-fest at the Stadionul Dr. Constantin Rădulescu.
Cluj are the newly-crowned champions, and they have the confidence of overtaking previous toppers FCSB with some great performances in the post-season.
Note that they were also unbeaten in 14 of their last 16 home games, and had won seven of the past ten home appearances.
On the other hand, FCSB have the best offense in the Romanian top flight, and they have a score to settle with Cluj.
Note that they have also scored two or more goals in three of the preceding four overall fixtures, and had done the same in three of the past four road trips.
Taking into account these observations, expect a goal-fest this Tuesday.
