Tottenham are flying high at the beginning of the 2023/24 Premier League season under new manager Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs bagged two goals in each of the opening three fixtures and they have seven out of nine possible points going into Matchday No 4.

The good news for Postecoglou is that his team’s defensive line has shown signs of improvements of late as well, keeping back-to-back clean sheets against Manchester United and Bournemouth in the last two rounds.

Spurs will have a great opportunity to continue their tremendous spell of form and make it three league wins on the spin on Saturday afternoon when they visit Turf Moor in the clash against newly-promoted Burnley.

Clarets have only played two games so far in the season but they did not get a chance to do much in either, suffering two comprehensive home defeats to Manchester City and Aston Villa in the process.

They were especially disappointing in the last weekend’s match against Villa, conceding two goals within the opening 20 minutes of affair and delivering no more than two shots on target in the 90 minutes of play at their Turf Moor.

Knowing how strong Tottenham have been in the final third under Postecoglou and with red-hot James Maddison in the playmaker role, we can expect another feast for their fans this time around.
