Manchester City start their Premier League title defense quest on Friday evening at Turf Moor where they’ll face top flight newcomers Burnley.

The Citizens will be hoping to bounce back from a late shock at Wembley where they allowed a last-gasp equalizer before eventually losing on penalties to Arsenal in the Community Shield clash on Sunday.

It was a tight affair without too many chances at both ends as substitutes had a great impact. For Man City, Cole Palmer came on in the second half to give them the lead with a beautiful strike.

They suffered a 0-1 defeat to Mainz last Saturday on German soil in a match in which Vincent Kompany’s troops were a much better side on the pitch throughout the whole 90 minutes.
