Newcastle will make a long trip to the south where they will take on Brighton in a super exciting last game of Saturday’s Premier League schedule at The Amex.

Both teams will enter the tie off the back of disappointing defeats from last weekend. Brighton fell 1-3 at home to West Ham United, marking their maiden loss of the 2023/24 campaign.

Roberto De Zerbi’s men produced their standard attacking-minded football on the occasion but it did not result in a victory due to West Ham’s fabulous display on both ends of the pitch.

The fact that the Seagulls had 26 shots towards the Hammers’ goal last weekend says enough. We expect Brighton to come up with a similar showing this time around regardless of the strength of the opposition.

Newcastle, on the other side, dropped an early lead in both goals and players on the pitch as they shipped two late goals from substitute Darwin Nunez to lose the home fixture 1-2 to ten-man Liverpool last Sunday.

It was the second straight defeat for the Magpies who had earlier fallen 1-0 away at Manchester City.
