Brentford vs Swansea

Brentford had missed out on a direct promotion spot by a whisker, and they are determined to make amends for it. They are in good form, and against the inconsistent Swansea, they are expected to have the edge.
At the end of the regular season, Brentford had finished third in the table. Only the top two teams would be directly promoted to the Premier League, and they had missed the cut-off by just four points.
Over the course of the campaign, they had scored the most number of goals – 79, and note that 17 of the total 24 squads had not even touched the 60-goal mark.
Moreover, they had also showed immense grit in scripting a comeback, after going down 0-2 in aggregate against Bournemouth, and that too in the second leg. In fact, their winning goal had come just nine minutes from full time.
Meanwhile, Swansea are struggling to show consistency, and lately they have been conceding goals in plenty. Note that they also have a poor h2h record against this rival in recent times, and on the road their performances have really lacked in 2021.
As such, expect Brentford to secure the win this weekend, and thus secure their entry into the top flight.
Brentford had recorded a 3-2 aggregate win against Bournemouth in the semis. In the meantime, Swansea had registered a 2-1 aggregate victory against Barnsley.
Going on, Brentford had recorded wins in five of the past six overall fixtures, and they had scored two or more goals in three of the former four games.
On the other hand, their counterparts were winless in nine of their preceding thirteen overall fixtures, and in the process they had gone on a four-match losing streak.
On top of that, they also have a poor h2h record against this foe over the years.
Considering these observations, expect Brentford to dominate proceedings this Saturday at the Wembley Stadium.
Moreover, expect at least two goals from the best offense in the Championship this season.
