Aron Wright - May 22, 2021
Brann vs Bodo/Glimt
Norway – Eliteserien
Date: Monday, 24 May 2021
Kick-off at 16:00 UK/ 17:00 CET
Venue: Brann Stadion.
Bodo are the reigning champions of the competition, and have once again made a superb start. Meanwhile, Brann are the worst of the lot – and are placed dead last in the table with a 100% losing record. Thus, expect a Bodo win.
As of now, the title-holders are one of the three unbeaten squads in the Norwegian top flight. In fact, barring their draw against toppers Rosenborg, they have a 100% winning record.
Note that they had scored an unbelievable 103 goals from their 30 fixtures the last season, and also had conceded the least.
As of now, Brann have conceded the most goals in the league, and are placed bottom-most in standings.
By the looks of things, expect Bodo to post the three points on the board.
Brann are on a four-game losing run, and had also lost seven of their ten fixtures. Note that they had also conceded three or more goals in seven of the past eight matches.
On the other hand, their counterparts were unbeaten in 41 of their previous 44 overall games, and they have lost just thrice on the road since June of 2020.
They had also scored two or more goals in 40 of the past 44 overall match-ups, and importantly, they have a good h2h record against this foe as well.
Considering these stats, expect Bodo to deliver a superb winning performance this Sunday against Brann.
