Bradford City vs Burton Albion
England League One
Date: Tuesday, 21 August 2018
Kick-Off at 19:45 UK
Venue: Northern Commercials Stadium (Bradford).
After a poor start and two losses in first two outings, Burton Albion have returned to the winning ways and we’ve seen success across competitions, as they beat Shrewsbury Town in League Cup and earned their first points in a narrow home win over Doncaster Rovers.
They now travel to Bradford looking to capitalize on that and the rivals poor form of recent, snatching important points at Northern Commercials Stadium in an attempt to climb the table – still just three behind the league’s top 6 early in the new season.
Bantams have indeed had a better kick off of the season and we’ve seen an upset at Shrewsbury Town, where they snatched all three points with a single goal from Jack Payne.
However, they have failed to keep it up and score goals lately and we’ve seen losses to Barnsley, Macclesfield Town, and Southend United in their last three outings – which will be a worry for Michael Collins, seeing his men’s struggles at home ground continue.
We do feel Burton Albion come into the match in better shape after a successful spell of results lately but we don’t see them bagging all three points at Northern Commercials Stadium this time either. We’ll thus rather go for a Draw at 3.40, which seems the best way to go about the market at this point.
We do expect another exciting contest between the sides and we’ll now also back a YES on Both teams to score at 1.95, as Burton saw out such games in three of the four games this term. They could have to outgun Bradford to snatch any points and we Nigel Clough’s men will surely be very motivated in the attacking third.
Draw @ 3.40 (12/5)
Both teams to score YES @ 1.95 (20/21).
