If recent form is any indication, the German side has a huge upper hand this Wednesday, at their home.
Der BVB slotted in 17 goals from their past six games, and found the back of the net twice or more in 100% of their games in 2023 so far. In addition, they also scored four or more goals in 100% of their appearances at home in 2023 till now.
And with Chelsea not in the best of shapes lately, chances are high for goals to come in plenty this Wednesday.
Dortmund are a bit too attack-minded, that despite their dominance over opponents, clean sheets come seldom for them. It is to be noted that they have just three clean sheets to their name in the past five months or so.
Likely, goals are to be expected from either end of the pitch this Wednesday.
Der BVB have a 100% winning record in 2023, and even have a combined scorecard of 17-6 from their last six fixtures. On the other hand, Chelsea were able to deliver just three wins from their past 15 games, and one of these wins even came against a team awaiting relegation.
Dortmund are in fine form, and are expected to deliver a winning performance this Wednesday. The odds for the same are placed at 2.60.
Coming to goals, Der BVB slotted in four or more goals in 100% of their appearances at home in 2023, while at the same time they failed to keep clean sheets in all of these matches as well.
