Bordeaux got a much needed win and it was away to Guingamp last weekend and ended 3-1. This moved the club up to 13th place seeing their recent form improve and going the last two games unbeaten. After a slow start to the campaign they have now lost just 1 game in their last 4.
From their 3 games played so far at Matmut Atlantique Bordeaux have won 1, lost 1 and drawn 1, but this includes beating Monaco here and then drawing against Nimes in a thrilling 3-3 match.
Lille continue to do well and are in 2nd place coming into this game. They are 6 points ahead of their hosts and have lost just 1 game this season. But they are already 5 points behind league leaders PSG.
Lille’s one loss did come away and it happened at Angers as they were defeated 1-0. They have also scored just 3 goals and conceded 3 on the road and it is clear that the club are building up the majority of their points at home.
Bordeaux look like a different side under new coach Ricardo Gomes and we expect them to be strong in this game at home. Lille have been fantastic this season but a little suspect away from home. Our bet here is to see a home win and this will have to be a professional display from the home side. For smaller stakes we will look into the correct score market.
