Vitoria Guimaraes are flying high after a surprisingly early UEFA Conference League exit. They bounced back from the elimination on penalties to Slovenian side Celje with a streak of three consecutive wins at the start of the new Primeira Liga campaign.

Paulo Turra’s men thus share the very top of the standings with the likes of Porto and Sporting Lisbon with just one goal conceded in three outings.

The perfect record, as well as strong defensive form, will be on a massive test on Saturday evening when the table toppers visit the capital to take on the defending champions Benfica in Matchday No 4.

Benfica shockingly began the season with a 3-2 road loss to Boavista but they managed to respond by beating Estrela and Gil Vicente in the previous two rounds.
