Steffen Schmidt - September 1, 2023
Arsenal vs Manchester United
English Premier League
Date: 3 September 2023, Sunday
Kick-off at 16:30 UK / 17:30 CET
Venue: Emirates Stadium (London).
Arsenal and Manchester United will drop the curtain on Matchday No 4 with a super-exciting clash on Sunday afternoon at Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners slipped-up for the first time this season eight days ago when they shockingly dropped a 2-1 lead and an extra-man advantage against Fulham in what ended as a 2-2 stalemate in North London.
Mikel Arteta can by no means be satisfied with his team’s start to the season. Arsenal did pick up seven out of nine points in three games but they did not thrive in any of three matches so far in the campaign.
Manchester United, on the other side, somehow found a way to come back from a two-goal deficit in the home match against Nottingham Forest last Saturday.
Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, and Bruno Fernandes completed the comeback for the Red Devils who have won two of three outings this term.
Manchester United did not look great at all on the opening day against Wolves but we have seen improvements in the team’s performances in the following two matches against Tottenham (despite the loss in London) and Nottingham Forest.
Neither outfit will go into this in the highest of spirits. They have both shown defensive liabilities in the early stages of the season. Knowing that the Over 2.5 goals FT & Both Teams To Score pick landed in each of the previous four H2H clashes in the Premier League between these rivals, we have reasons to expect goals on Sunday.
The Over 2.5 goals FT & Both Teams To Score is our main betting pick and you can back it at the 1.80 odds. We also like Arsenal’s win at the 1.80 odds knowing about the recent H2H trend.
