Steffen Schmidt - March 30, 2023
Arsenal vs Leeds
English Premier League
Date: 1 April 2023, Saturday
Kick-off at 15:00 UK / 16:00 CET
Venue: Emirates Stadium (London).
Arsenal recovered from the UEFA Europa League elimination in some style, by bagging four goals in a comprehensive victory over London rivals Crystal Palace in the previous round of the Premier League.
Bukayo Saka stole the show with two goals and an assist, while Gabriel Martinelli continued his exquisite run of form by bagging a goal himself past the Glaziers on the occasion.
The Gunners have thus extended the lead to eight points at the top of the league table. It is worth noting that Manchester City have a game in hand on them, though, meaning there is hardly any room for errors in the final ten games of the season.
Mikel Arteta’s men will play one of the easiest matches up until the end of the campaign on Saturday afternoon when they play host to Leeds United in Matchday No 29.
Leeds sit at the completely opposite end of the league standings. However, the Peacocks have managed to escape the red zone and climb up to the 14th position in the table thanks to a streak of two wins, a draw, and a loss in the last four rounds.
Javi Gracia’s men produced two great attacking displays in the previous two league affairs, bagging six goals in total against Brighton and Wolves.
The Peacocks claimed a huge win in a six-pointer at Molineux before the international break, bagging four goals past Wolves in Gameweek 28.
Arsenal can ill afford a slip-up at home. They have won six games on the spin in the league, bagging at least three goals in five of these six along the way. Leeds notched four goals past Wolves two weeks ago at Molineux.
We’ll take Arsenal to win & Both Teams To Score bet at the odds of 2.75. Alternatively, Bukayo Saka is worth backing to score anytime at the 2.50 odds following his fantastic displays for England during the international break.
