The Gunners are in phenomenal form this season, and they are in hot pursuit of the top-most spot in their Europa League group table. A win this Thursday at their home against the dead-last placed Zurich will confirm them as the champions of Group A.
Zurich are placed bottom-most in the table, with just three points against their name. They have a 100% losing record barring a single game, and they conceded the most number of goals in the group. In fact, they let in more goals than all the other three teams combined.
They need a win this Thursday at any cost to even make it to the Conference League. This added pressure will be a huge disadvantage, as they make their trip to the Emirates Stadium.
Mikel Arteta’s men are smelling blood now. All their patience seems to be paying off. They are in great form at the moment – so much so that they recorded a 5-0 win in their latest fixture. They were at home, taking on Nottingham Forest, as part of their Premier League schedule.
It is of huge importance that they have a 100% winning record at this venue since April, and this Thursday they need a victory. The second-placed PSV are trailing by just two points, and they could replace the Gunners from the top if things do not go according to the plan.
Count on Arsenal to be at their very best this game week, and not take any chances.
The Gunners are currently the toppers of the most competitive league in Europe, the EPL. They are in great form, and have already thrown in their names as one of the top contenders for the title.
Along with that they are going after the Europa too, and will be determined to deliver a superb win this Thursday. The struggling and inexperienced Zurich do not stand a chance at all.
Moreover, Arteta’s men already won the reverse fixture, and that too on the road. They even kept a clean sheet in that game.
It appears that Arsenal will register a huge victory this game week.
