Arsenal Tula vs Ufa
Russian Premier League
Date: Friday, 5 October 2018
Kick-Off at 17:30 UK / 18:30 CET
Venue: Stadion Arsenal (Tula).
Both Arsenal Tula and Ufa enjoyed overwhelming campaigns in the previous term of Premier League. They ended their respective campaigns in the top half of the standings back then and entered the new season with similar ambitions.
The reality is completely different after nine rounds of the 2018/19 campaign, though. They hold relegation play-offs positions with one point separating them ahead of the Matchday curtain raiser on Friday afternoon in Tula.
The hosts seemed to have caught the wanted shape with three straight games without a defeat, but they brought such thread to an end last weekend falling 2-1 away at Ural. Can they return on the winning ways before the international break?
Unlike Arsenal, Ufa were victorious last weekend when they took advantage of the easier fixture to see off league newcomers Yenisey 2-1 at Stadion Neftyanik.
Gorozhane had to work hard to bag the comeback victory against the rock-bottomed side, but Vyacheslav Krotov and Sylvester Igboun eventually managed to bag second-half goals to complete the comeback.
However, Ufa are struggling badly on travels this season. They lost for and drew one of last five matches on the road scoring just once in the process.
Knowing that Arsenal have a fine home record with two wins, two draws and one loss so far, the value is fine with the hosts to pick up the spoils at the odds of 2.25 here. You’ll get the same odds for the hosts to keep things tight at the back on the occasion.
