Ankaragucu vs Yeni Malatyaspor

After a very solid start of their Super Lig campaign, Ankaragucu have dropped down the table with two very narrow losses in the hands of Antalyaspor and Bursaspor – where just a single first-half goal made all the difference on both occasions. They now host Malatyaspor for their Matchday 9 clash looking for a return to the winning ways and build on their mid-table spot.
AG have held Trabzonspor to a thriller draw and beat both Akhisarspor in Super Lig and Serik Belediyespor in the Cup at home ground beforehand, which should have them very confident in their search of a third win in four outings at Osmanli Stadi too.
Yeni Malatyaspor have shown off as a very tough side to beat too and we’ve seen them bag 12 points in eight games so far, including a 1-0 win over Rizespor and draws against Istanbul Basaksehir and Sivasspor earned ahead of the break. They’ll now want to build on such a character and it does feel they travel to Ankara just as confident.
We do believe Ankaragucu now have what it takes to end their two-game losing streak and we’ll back the Home side to bag all three points at 2.54. We now hope they’ve used the break to a good cause and we do see them making more damage early in the new campaign.
However, they’ll have to find their best form up front to do so as we believe Malatyaspor will be no easy side to beat. We will now back Over 2.5 goals FT at 2.20 hoping to see the visitors coping well and Ankaragucu ultimately outgunning them to the points.
