Alcoyano vs Real Madrid
Spain – Copa del Rey
Date: Wednesday, 5 January 2021
Kick-off at 20:30 UK/ 21:30 CET
Venue: Estadio El Collao.
The Royal Whites have been the absolute best team in Spain this season. It’s evident that they are back with a vengeance, after arch-rivals Atleti lifted the league title the last season.
As of now, Carlo Ancelotti’s men are at the top of the table – that too with an eight-point lead. And such has been their superiority, that they have scored nine more goals than any other squad in the entire La Liga.
Meanwhile, Alcoyano are from the third division, and even there they are struggling to hold down a place in the mid-table. They have been severely inconsistent lately, and even at home they have seldom won this season.
By the looks of things, expect a convincing win for Real Madrid this Wednesday at the Estadio El Collao.
Alcoyano had lost three of their past four matches, and they have won just thrice at home all through this season. Moreover, they have a total of just two wins at home since August.
On the other hand, Ancelotti’s men had won 13 of their last 16 fixtures, and they had scored two or more goals in 10 of their past 13 games. Going on, they had won seven of their former eight road trips, and they have lost just twice on the road since May of 2021.
Taking into account these observations, as well as the h2h superiority of Real Madrid, expect a win for them this Wednesday at the Collao.
