The elite continental competition will host the battle of Italy on Wednesday evening as the likes of AC Milan and Napoli are set to lock horns in the first match of their quarterfinal tie at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
There is a lot to separate these two outfits going into this tie. Mathematically, Napoli are 22 points adrift of AC Milan in the Serie A standings and it is only a matter of time before I Partinopei secure the much-wanted domestic silverware.
Traditionally, AC Milan are the seven-time European champions, while Napoli are only going to play their inaugural quarterfinal tie in the elite competition.
Stylistically, I Rossoneri rely heavily on defense in the Champions League as they kept their net untouched in four consecutive fixtures in the competition.

The Nigerian striker has suffered an injury on an international duty and his absence was felt in Napoli’s last two league games.
One of these was a 0-4 defeat at the hands of AC Milan ten days ago at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
AC Milan have won just one of the last six outings across competitions but that lone win came just against Napoli. The visitors will be drastically handicapped without Serie A top scorer Osimhen and we also believe the recent 0-4 defeat to I Rossoneri will affect Luciano Spalletti’s men psychologically on Wednesday.
